Shilpa birthday party ruined in Dubai :

It was planned as her perfect birthday bash in Dubai on Saturday night to bring in her birthday on Sunday.

Alas, Woman proposes, God (with some help from the airport authorities) disposes.

The ordeal for Shilpa began when she landed at the international airport in Dubai with her sister Shamita, parents and life companion Raj Kundra for company. Her bag went missing at the airport.

“This, let me tell you, is the story of my life,” the ever-optimistic and cheerful Shilpa laughed from Dubai. “No journey of mine is complete without losing a bag. It could be a hopping flight from Mumbai to Pune. But if I don’t lose baggage the journey is incomplete.”

Unfortunately, the baggage that Shilpa lost in Dubai on Saturday contained the outfit she was supposed to wear for her big birthday bash planned in Dubai.

Late in the afternoon she had to go clothes- shopping in Dubai with her sister for the party in the night…

A party that she finally couldn’t attend. “I’ve been on antibiotics for the past week. Ever since I got repeatedly wet in artificial rain for a song with Sunny Deol in The Man, I’ve been suffering these bouts of fever and coughing. I was in Delhi earlier last week. The humidity only aggravated my condition. It got worse on Saturday. A doctor had to be called.”

Shilpa couldn’t attend her own birthday party. But she has no regrets. “Because I spent the evening with my family. To me there can be no better way to bring in my birthday.”

shriya and danush pair up again in “jab we met” remake

As we all know “jab we met” was a blockbuster in hindi and had all appreciated the film . Now shriya and danush would be acting in the remake of this film .

Earlier, it was Trisha who was supposed to pair and Dhanush refused to take up the project since the script was somewhat similar to his latest movie Yaaradi Nee Mohini. But, then the producers agreed to pay him large remuneration and finally made him accept. Moser Baer is taking the necessary initiatives in this regard. The original version, with Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor in the lead, turned out to be an instant hit. Jab We Met had all the elements that make a successful commercial film that appeals to all generations. Youngsters especially had a ball in the theatres while watching this film. Initially, Trisha was supposed to be the female lead in the Tamil version, but owing to her extremely busy schedules in two Telugu films and one Tamil film, Sarvam (directed by Vishnuvardhan), the role went to Shriya Saran.

Dasavatharam — My Review

Everyone had been waiting for a long time for the release of this film. the reasons were : 1.kamal and 2.the 10 avatars . several reviews have been made ; some praising the actor’s hardwork and involvement and other simply ignoring it .

Well , i agree that the story is a bit weak ; i mean there are mostly chases in the film where fletcher talks mostly in language that most people dont understand here . i dont know people felt in theatres when they did not understand a word fletcher speaks . ya ofcourse mallika sherawat was there to rescue us — translating the language .

But as a whole , i would say that Dasavatharam was  entertaining .Although the story is not captivating , it definitely does not make us  uninterested in it . Especially the avatars were simply fabulous .

And did you notice the dialogues he speaks as “BALRAM NAIDU” and “boovaragan” — AMAZING ; i became speechless . And iam not sure if the fletcher’s dialogues were spoken by kamal — does anybody know ? it was realistic .

SO MY VERDICT IS : GO WATCH IT — U WILL DEFINITELY ENJOY THE FILM ! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT .
